Plan on joining us at the SHIFT:TECH virtual conference this September, where we’ll discuss the impact of technology on society. Thanks to our partnership with Comcast, there’s no fee to attend. For years we’ve assumed technology’s disruptive nature was a de facto force for good. But with that assumption now in question, the time is ripe to remind ourselves of the positive force technology can still be in business, politics, and culture. Technology’s core potential lies in the ideas of entrepreneurs and leaders who bring positive change to society. SHIFT:TECH will identify, explore, and celebrate the people, companies, and benefits driving innovation, while keeping a steady eye on the lessons learned from the industry’s recent missteps.
SHIFT:TECH will highlight entrepreneurs and leaders who have identified real world problems and are deep in the work of creating positive change. How do these companies measure their impact? How might they imagine and address the potential externalities their future success might create? What is the role of proactive and considered policy across those possible scenarios? And how might the insights and lessons learned by later stage companies inform the entrepreneur’s journey?
SHIFT:TECH is a must attend for senior executives across all of business, as well as startup founders, entrepreneurs, financiers, and policymakers. SHIFT:TECH will feature in-depth interviews, rapid fire talks, and plenty of time for audience Q&A. Join us for a thought-provoking two hours as we speak to founders, VCs and policy experts on how technology has fueled new ideas and empowered people and companies.
